I agree with Mike, unless all parties involved signed a contract saying that they are not allowed to go NFTs I see nothing wrong with smaller artists and creators using NFTs to make money but then again, this is the first time I am really hearing about NFTs so I am not well versed in NFTs or virtual currency. I would love to learn more about NFTs and how they could either hurt or help the market. But that being said, I see a lot of contracts having a clause about the use of NFTs.

I am doing my own research on NFTs and video games and how NFTs affect that market but now it’s giving me ideas on possibly making my own NFTs just to try them out for fun

this is an article that I found about creating your own NFTs/NFCs and now I am looking at doing this for my own stuff but yeah it’s super interesting

oof 6 dollars? why? I mean I get more content and such but the question is, is it only for the comics mentioned or is it across all titles that DC puts out?
-
I would also like to see if we can get someone to tell us where they get their comics printed do that way anyone who does want to go solo can have all the right tools of the trails
-
I would like to hear from someone who can teach us how to pitch a comic book if we decide to branch out on our own.

test post using the Buddy Boss UI. how’s it looking?

yeah!!! few day of hard work and figuring out everything but it’s step in the right direction

honestly at this point, I am not sure what the future of DC is or what I expect them to do or what I would do if I were in charge of DC Comics. I haven’t read a comic in months, I’ve been away for so long that I don’t know what is current or what story lines are out. if I stayed in the business, I would have a “better idea” but even then I probably wouldn’t know what to do at that point.

Hey Erin, thanks, this was all Buddy’s notes, I just posted it but I’ll know more after tomorrow’s nights meeting and at this point, I’ll use the notes from discord too. But I’ll change the post after tomorrow when I get input from everyone.

@mywritinghero this does help because I have been stuck on a title for the longest time but I guess I should write the story first and then see if there is a recurring theme and then base the title off of that recurring theme. thanks for the advice
-
When writing a story do you come up with the title first and the create the plot after or do you work on the plot first and then the title last?

To clarify Twitch is not a message board, Twitch is for live streaming and that is something that the Tech Council did look into using twitch for live streaming our pro creator talks but as of right now we have not expanded on that option as of yet. I do like the idea of sending a newsletter out but if you subscribe to the forums on WordPress you get to see responses to the post. We don’t want to overload the community with emails when they are already receiving so many emails from other ventures

I mean I would bring hand sanitizer and wet wipes but other than that I wouldn’t really take any other precautions, I guess if I feel tired I’d go back to the hotel or I’d just go home if the con was local enough and take a nap or something
-
Yes I would still continue to attend a con during the outbreak, if I paid money for something I plan to use it to my advantage or at least try to see if I can have my money go to next year’s ticket

Hello Everyone,
My name is Kevin, I am the resident tech expert here and I am a horseback rider from NYC and prior to joining the Council of the Willing I was a manager of Carmine Street Comics in NYC for 5 years before I stepped down to pursue horseback riding full time. If you need any help with technology I am here to help. -
Not yet but if I want to make money off of my own comic or look into branching out I want to make sure I understand how to sell myself and my comic in an independent creator way so I know I am getting the most for my time and effort.
