honestly for me, I’ve tried reading comics digitally before and I couldn’t do it. I tried on both my iPhone and iPad and i couldn’t make it happen but print comics somehow worked perfectly for my brain to comprehend. I think it really depends on the reader and what they are more comfortable reading.

This is very interesting, I would love to see more of this in the comics world but honestly as a “freelance” writer, forming a guild within a union seems like too much work for one person but then again I don’t really understand unions and guilds so once I brush up on those terms I’ll probably have a different reaction-

literally just saw this now, I am down to meet everyone, I am free that week anyway except for thursday when I have class. If we still need a meeting place, I know of a place that we can go to. If we need people to man a table, I am down for that too

when starting out selling comics, what is a good starting price for something like an 8 page comic or if we decide to expand our 8-pager into something of a standard 22-24 page comic?

I have yet to post anything because life got in the way but basically the 3 characters on the left are based off of me and two of my friends who are all horseback riders who encounter a ghost when they are at a couple of horse shows in the tri-state area that causes havoc for Riley who is based off of me.

just getting back into comics again so I don’t really have anything right now to read because it’s been at least 2 years since I last read a comic so all my titles have ended and I am having trouble finding the new arcs

what is a good price to start out at for an 8 page comic? I have been throwing a few prices around in my head but I am not sure how to nail down a price that works well. This will help me if I decide to go solo.

I mean so far the only supply and demand market that I’ve seen NFTs/NFCs work well/not well is the video game market specifically Nintendo’s use of Amiibos but other than that I haven’t seen NFTs/NFCs used in other markets as of yet so I am super interested to see how this will affect the comic book market and art market

I am always down to have a round table discussion, my days are pretty open that I can jump on and talk shop

As of right now, I was thinking Boom studios or Scout comics(think this is an imprint of a larger company but if I do my own signings out I promote my own comics I want to be able to sell and promote them in a way that is understandable to a wider audience

If NYCC happens in person this year, It’ll be my first NYCC in over a decade so I would definitely want to go just to go again after so long of being away
