build the KS 5 months before launch

Get book done if possible before launch

pay attention to trends and what other people kickstarting is dong

read about the algorithm changes currently going on through goggle searches

Make your fan base aware of coming KS with teaser images once a week

make the launch special make the video 1 month before and put it on you tube do not use copyright music

get your team a plan of action

make sure if possible to get nick rewards ahead of times to avoid price increases

pay attention to postal rate and supply issues

A good topic would be new Releases Like Sucicde Sqaudthat used a method of telling multiple stories in one film using flashbacks. It was actually really well done and played out like an Oceans 11 movie with a superhero( sort of ) twist.

Never use GO FUND me for comics there is a history of Scams with in the industry and it is really looked down on.

Kickstarter believe it or not is the perfect place to make enough for some copies
