I have found I enjoy a Show more if I have to make time to Keep up with it. There is room between episodes for me to ponder where the story is going vs a Bindge where I lose that nuance of Fandom. What are your thoughts?

I miss the weekly episodes because you know everyone is watching at the same pace. That’s what made The X-Files so enjoyable and The Walking Dead so essential. You knew you had to watch those shows at air time, so that you could be part of the conversation the next week.

Now you have shows that drop all of the episodes at once. There are always people who have schedules that allow them to binge watch. They hammer through the entire series and want to discuss it.

You end up with conversations like, “did you get to the part where Main Character A murders Main Character B?”

I, too, prefer weekly. I just don’t have time to binge for hours, especially if it’s something I can’t watch with the kids, and it’s so hard to avoid spoilers these days.
