Alright, here are the pencils of the SpaceTime ContinuInn !
I like to keep them not too much detailed, just enough to figure out expressions, poses, anatomy. Then on the inking stage I can focus on making it clean, doing details, etc…
I also like to put rough sound effects and early lettering there, to check if the composition works/if there’s enough space. I went for quite a big font here, maybe we’ll have to reduce it at some point ^^
First, thank you for having a test-run lettering! This helped me contextualize the action (and later interpret more clearly the twist at the end).
What really stuck (pun, but up to you lol) with me was the echo of the hotel patron lifting up his bite with his fork. In fact, tbh I had to go back to see if you had stuck the landing — and you did! I believe it was on page 6 with the bear.
