Poll: Help me choose a title for my WIP
I have begun working on a new project where I intend to collect the best gothic microfictions I’ve posted on Twitter over the last few years and collect them into a chapbook. Marika Brousianou, whom many of you know from Creator Connections, will be illustrating it. I need to choose a title.
I’ve narrowed it down to three choices, each of which is based off a line from Edgar Allan Poe. I intend to use the whole quote from with the title is taken as the epigraph of the book.
The three choices are:
- Into That Darkness Peering
-
Dreams Within Dreams
-
Invisible Things
1 is from The Raven, and therefore might be the most recognizable if I want people to catch the allusion: 2 comes from a great quote: all that we see is a dream within a dream) that would make a great epigraph, and I think on its own, it’s the best title, but it may not be gothic enough for this collection; 3 is from the quote “Invisible Things are the only realities,” I also like it as a title, but while it applies to many, perhaps the majority of the stories, it doesn’t apply to all of them
What do you guys think?
