I am with Philip I like option 3, but 2 is a bit more dynamic depending on what you are going for. I will admit I was a little confused that the pages 7 and 8 with the cover options are posted prior to pages 1-6 and the numbering of the panels and the numbering of the dialog left me a but confused.

But is seems like you have the layouts worked out and the expressions and effects read well for each panel. I like the forced perspective on the sword, I'm looking forward to seeing how the pages layout in roughs for the fight heavy pages.
